由刘恋和杜凯两位北大学生组成的人声爵士乐男女组合，成立于2009年。
在《中国好歌曲》、《中国达人秀》、《红牛新能量音乐计划》等比赛中获得刘欢、高晓松、张亚东、袁惟仁等业界前辈的赞赏与推荐。2016年登上张北音乐节、简单生活节及爵士上海音乐节，同年发行首张专辑《先生小姐》，次年获得第28届金曲奖最佳演唱组合奖。
爵士乐在大众眼中有不知所云的小资情调的成见，而Mr. Miss用一种最简约的方式，将经典音乐的根源核心吸引力剥离出来，以类似民谣歌手的亲和形式，演绎各种类型的爵士标准曲和原创作品。他们的作曲直接继承了美国二三十年代的Great American Songbook和百老汇音乐的传统，以生活化、亲切生动的歌词创作轻松自然的歌曲。因其音乐具有温暖、抚慰、幽默的特点，被称为“解忧爵士”。

Founded in 2009, the vocal jazz combination of Peking University male and female students, Liu Lian and Du Kai.

Liu Huan, Gao Xiaosong, Zhang Yadong, Yuan Weiren and other professional predecessors were praised and recommended Mr. Miss in the ‘Sing My Song’, ‘China’s Got Talent’, ‘Red Bull New Energy Music Project’ and other competitions. In 2016, they boarded the Zhangbei Music Festival, the Simple Life Festival and the Shanghai Jazz Festival. In the same year, they released their debut album ‘Mr. Miss’ and won the 28th Golden Melody Awards for Best Vocal Group the following year.

 

Jazz has an unintelligible stereotype of petty bourgeoisie in the eyes of the public, but Mr. Miss uses a concise way to strips out the core appeal of the classic music, and interprets various types of jazz standard and original works in a form similar to folk singers. Their composition creating soft and natural songs with lively, intimate and vivid lyrics,directly inherits the traditions of the Great American Songbook and Broadway music in the United States in the 1920s and 1930s. Because of its warm, soothing and humorous music, their music is called "Sorrowful Jazz".
